Join us for Paintin' Ork Flesh, a hands-on ORKtober hobby workshop where we'll be diving into the wonderful world of painting skin on your miniatures!

Whether you're picking up a paintbrush for the very first time or you're an experienced painter looking to sharpen your skills, this workshop will walk you through multiple ways to create great-looking skin tones, starting with the easiest techniques and working our way up to more advanced methods.

🟢 THREE MODELS. THREE TECHNIQUES. LOTS OF GREEN! 🟢

Each participant will receive THREE different Warhammer 40,000 Ork models, already primed and ready to paint.

We'll begin by covering the three basic techniques for applying paint to miniatures, giving you a solid foundation before putting those techniques to work on your Ork flesh.

From there, we'll work through several different approaches to painting skin—from quick and simple methods that are perfect for getting an army on the table, all the way to more advanced techniques for creating depth, highlights, and character.

🎨 GREEN, BROWN & EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN

This workshop will primarily focus on greens and browns for Ork skin, but don't let the green fool you!

The techniques you'll learn can easily be adapted to paint human skin, fantasy creatures, aliens, monsters, and all sorts of other skin tones.

Once you understand how the techniques work, you can apply them to almost anything!

Every participant receives:

Paints, brushes, and other hobby supplies will be provided for the workshop and are expected to be returned when the class is finished.

🧰 BRING YOUR OWN GUBBINZ!

You're welcome to bring your own brushes and hobby supplies if you prefer working with your personal equipment.

You can also bring a few models from home to practice on, but please keep them to a limited amount so we can save space and make sure there's plenty of time for everyone to work through the workshop.
