Campaign Summary
The campaign will have three phases, with the options to be reduced to two if time constraints become too limiting. Phase One will consist of the Beach landings and a series of 2v1s with an additional special 1v1 mission. This will be up to the Allied Players to decide as that mission will affect the beach landing tables. Phase two will be a series of small battles in hedgerows country just off the beaches. Success or failure on the previous mission will determine the mission selected and any additional bonuses. Phase 3 will be the German Counterattack and the release of the armored reserves to push the Allies back into the Sea. Players will earn Tactical Edge cards as they play to help bolster their armies and each mission success or failure will have effects on the next game.
Phase One
Beach Landings
The beach landings will feature 2 2v1 missions using the FUBAR scenario from the D-Day Battlefront Campaign. All players will select 75pt armies and will be simulating the landings at Gold and Omaha Beaches. Forces will be organized to have like nations joined for these missions.
Special Mission
Pointe Du Hoc or Carentan Drop. The special mission will be based on the Help is on the Way Beach landing faced by the US Rangers, or the Seize and Hold Mission faced by the US Paratroopers inserted before the landings.
If the Mission Pointe Du hoc is chosen, the defenders have to place all indirect fire unit in reserve to simulate the loss of the artillery positions overwatching the beaches.
If the Mission Seize and Hold is chosen, the defender’s reserves are delayed instead of immediate to simulate the confusion behind the lines.
Phase Two (Optional for Time Constraints)
Hedgerow Country
Players will play on a series of 4x4 skirmish maps based on the Bocage Country or Brew Up. mission from the D-Day Global Campaign. Mission selection decided by the winner of the previous beach landing/special mission scenario.
Special Conditions from previous games
Pointe Du Hoc – Allied Victory, Allied players may add 5 points for each or part of 50pts to their army.
Axis Victory, Axis players ignore the meeting engagement for artillery and aircraft. All units will still count as moving for the first turn.
Seize and Hold – Allied Victory, Allied reserves arrive on (+4 Brew Up, Remove one Minefield Bocage Country)
Axis Victory, Axis reserves arrive on (+4 Brew up, Add one additional minefield)

1v1 Games
Players will choose who is the attacker and defender. If either the Allied or Axis side won at least 3 out of the 5 skirmish games, then that side that has the majority and that faction’s player chooses their army’s stance.
Special Condition (Armored Reserves) – Whichever faction has the most wins at the start of phase 3 may add one additional heavy tank unit of up to 3 tanks, or two medium or small tanks units of no more than 3 tanks each to their force at no additional cost. These units automatically start in reserve.
2v1 Games
Players may choose a 2v1 scenario with the same Army stance process for the 1v1 games. Army Points values will be equalized (Up to two 75pt forces may face a 150pt force).
Only one player for the 2 person team may take an additional heavy tank unit, the two medium/small tank units may be split so each player takes an additional unit.
Tactical Edge Cards in the Campaign
Tactical Edge cards are a series of 40 bonus cards that give players an advantage during Campaign battles. The cards have their own instructions on them for when they can or must be used, and their effects are listed also. Once you’ve played a Tactical Edge card you discard that card for the rest of the Campaign. You gain Tactical Edge cards by gaining achievements during the course of a battle. During a battle, players are awarded up to four Tactical Edge cards at random from the deck that can be used in their current game or held for their next round. A player may have no more than four tactical edge cards at any given time.
How do players earn a tactical edge card? Meeting one of the below requirements and confirming with the TO will earn either player a card, each card can only be earned once per battle
